Die Ausstellung RIFTS transformiert Berlin-Weekly in ein Spatial Painting, und zirkuliert thematisch um drastische und absurde Entwicklungen der Gegenwart.Die Wandmalerei setzt sich aus amorphen Formen und sich auflösenden Landschaften zusammen, in die Texte und URL-Codes eingebettet sind. Kreaturen, Pflanzen, Symbole, Schrift und Weblinks fügen sich zu einer abstrakten malerischen Dynamik. Betritt man Berlin-Weekly steht man inmitten des Werks. Von einem bestimmten Blickpunkt aus gesehen wird der gesamte Raum optisch flächig. Es entsteht eine Atmosphäre der Entfremdung, erzeugt durch verzerrte, instabile Perspektiven.

The exhibition ‚rifts’ transforms Berlin-Weekly into a Spatial Painting, and thematically circulates around drastic and absurd developments of the present.The wall painting is composed of amorphous forms and dissolving landscapes, in which texts and URL codes are embedded. Creatures, plants, symbols, writing and web links combine to create an abstract painterly dynamic. When you enter Berlin-Weekly, you stand in the middle of the work. Seen from a certain viewpoint, the entire space becomes visually two-dimensional. An atmosphere of alienation is created by distorted, unstable perspectives.
