Inken Reinert builds expansive installations of furniture that were still produced in the GDR.
She develops her installations in a process of acting within the given parameters of space and context, exploring the possibilities of material and space.
In her work for Berlin Weekly, the artist follows the dimensions of the narrow, high-ceilinged space that emerged from a former gateway.
