Through its slow, repetitive movements, the figure conveys a fragile yet persistent sense of vitality.<br \/>When the Korean artist moved to Berlin four years ago to study at UdK Berlin, she felt as though her body were falling apart under the weight of fear, isolation, and depression. Out of this experience, she developed&nbsp;Cyborg I, a work that embodies feelings of insecurity, an unstable sense of identity, and the fragility of human relationships.<br \/>The cyborg\u2019s restless, wandering eyes\u2014reflecting the artist\u2019s own gaze\u2014follow passers-by moving beyond the window, appearing both curious and apprehensive. Its gaze can be read simultaneously as an expression of interest and an act of surveillance. Embedded within the cyborg\u2019s abdomen is an iPad displaying a live CCTV feed, enabling viewers either to meet the artist\u2019s gaze or to look away.
