(Ascending 8)\u201d by Katrin Wegemann consists of round, helium-filled balloons made of reflective foil that gently rise and fall\u2014like notes in a musical score. The balloons are guided by fine threads connected to motors, whose soft, rhythmic humming underscores the tempo of this visual composition.<br \/>Standing in front of the display window, viewers see both themselves and the surrounding street reflected in the floating balloons.
