Die Arbeit ist Teil der Werkreihe&nbsp;<em>The White Sea Cycle<\/em>, die im Zuge mehrerer&nbsp;Arbeitsaufenthalte Grenzhaeusers auf der meeresbiologischen Forschungsstation WSBS Kartesh in Karelien, Russland, entstanden sind.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-cedb045e-5551-4d56-9c0d-db6651a042b5\">english<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Texture of the Sea<\/em>&nbsp;by Nathalie Grenzhaeuser is a media installation that deals with the texture of the marine realm.
