Photo fragments from nature and typographies from newspapers are composed with geometric shapes that are inspired by the negative space from these images. A folded object continues from the wall collage into the room. The artist translates the motif of her pictures into the 3-dimensional in order to create an overall space that actively includes the architecture in the interior and exterior.
The artist is concerned with the space behind the space, with empty spaces, layers and spaces as a principle of spatial formation – in architecture as well as in nature. This interrelationship between complexity and simplicity demands, among other things, an openness to all artistic media and the use of very different materials.

ngg_shortcode_0_placeholder
