IN BETWEEN – eine Raumcollage von Isabelle Borges<\/a>, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die in Berlin lebende brasilianische K\u00fcnstlerin Isabella Bogens schafft in dem Berlin-Weekly Schaufensterraum eine ortsspezifische raumf\u00fcllende Collage aus verschiedenen Elementen. Fotofragmente aus der Natur und Typographien aus Zeitungen werden mit geometrischen Formen  komponiert, die durch den Negativraum aus diesen Bildern inspiriert sind.  Ein gefaltetes Objekt setzt sich aus der Wandcollage weiter in den Raum fort.  Dabei \u00fcbersetzt die K\u00fcnstlerin das Motiv ihrer Bilder in das 3-Dimensionale, um einen Gesamtraum zu schaffen, der die Architektur im Innen- und Au\u00dfenraum aktiv einbezieht. Der K\u00fcnstlerin geht es dabei um den Raum hinter dem Raum, um Leerstellen, Schichtungen und Zwischenr\u00e4ume als Prinzip der Raumbildung – in der Architektur wie auch in der Natur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Berlin-Weekly window space Isabelle Borges creates a site-specific collage of various elements. Photo fragments from nature and typographies from newspapers are composed with geometric shapes that are inspired by the negative space from these images. A folded object continues from the wall collage into the room. The artist translates the motif of her pictures into the 3-dimensional in order to create an overall space that actively includes the architecture in the interior and exterior.
The artist is concerned with the space behind the space, with empty spaces, layers and spaces as a principle of spatial formation – in architecture as well as in nature.
