{"id":3117,"date":"2020-06-10T15:48:56","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T15:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/?p=3117"},"modified":"2020-06-10T15:48:56","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T15:48:56","slug":"window-134","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/?p=3117","title":{"rendered":"Window 134"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/familiari-window-kl.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[3117]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"710\" height=\"879\" src=\"http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/familiari-window-kl.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3118\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/familiari-window-kl.jpg 710w, http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/familiari-window-kl-500x619.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.berlin-weekly.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/familiari-window-kl-121x150.jpg 121w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 710px) 100vw, 710px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TTN-20<\/strong> <strong>\u2014 an&nbsp;installation by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.famifax.com\/fami\/\">Andrea Familari<\/a>, 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TTN-20&nbsp;is a time- and site- specific work based on an investigation of global data&nbsp;gathered during the pandemic spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conceived&nbsp;as an extension and reiteration of the&nbsp;Tribute&nbsp;to the Noise&nbsp;series \u2014 a journey through generative video noise behaviour \u2014&nbsp;the igniting element for the chaotic change in TTN-20 is based on crucial&nbsp;parameter correlations that&nbsp;provoke new ways of questioning reality.&nbsp;Analyzing&nbsp;data collected over a 3 month period commencing 8 March 2020 and transposed via&nbsp;a holographic LED-Fan, TTN-20 presents daily visualizations processed by an&nbsp;original computer-programming script written by Familari for this exhibition.<br \/>TTN-20&nbsp;constitutes a move towards a different understanding of the interrelations&nbsp;between subjects and the events that influence them, when decision-making&nbsp;processes become defined by incidental combinations of objective and&nbsp;subjective&nbsp;factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unceasingly&nbsp;merging and blending colour-coded representations of various datasets related&nbsp;to the pandemic spread of COVID-19, such as, virus mortality rate, number of&nbsp;confirmed cases, recovered subjects, corresponding CO2&nbsp;levels, PM2.5&nbsp;measurements and the earth&#8217;s natural oscillations, TTN-20 explores the concept&nbsp;of \u2018randomity\u2019 in a moment of planetary change, drawing out a dialectic between&nbsp;a persistent state of becoming and invisible political&nbsp;bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrea&nbsp;Familari (1987, Italy)&nbsp;is a multimedia artist based in Berlin whose&nbsp;research derives from the investigation on generative processes, analysed&nbsp;through the lens of noise and expressed via different media: video screenings,&nbsp;interactive installations and prints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>deutsch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TTN-20&nbsp;ist eine zeit- und ortsspezifische Arbeit, die auf einer Untersuchung globaler&nbsp;Daten basiert, die w\u00e4hrend der pandemischen Ausbreitung von COVID-19 gesammelt&nbsp;wurden.<br \/>Konzipiert&nbsp;als eine Erweiterung und Wiederholung der Reihe Tribute to the Noise &#8211; eine&nbsp;Reise durch das generative Videorauschverhalten &#8211; basiert das z\u00fcndende Element&nbsp;f\u00fcr die chaotische Ver\u00e4nderung in TTN-20 auf entscheidenden&nbsp;Parameterkorrelationen, die neue Wege provozieren, die Realit\u00e4t in Frage zu&nbsp;stellen.<br \/>TTN-20&nbsp;analysiert Daten, die \u00fcber einen Zeitraum von drei Monaten ab dem 8. M\u00e4rz 2020&nbsp;gesammelt und \u00fcber einen holografischen LED-L\u00fcfter \u00fcbertragen wurden.
