Die Installation dieser Werke in unterschiedlichen Skalen, Materialien und Farben in verschiedensten Positionen sowohl in privaten als auch in \u00f6ffentlichen Innen- und Aussenr\u00e4umen er\u00f6ffnet weitere M\u00f6glichkeiten der Transformation und Applikation dieser Strukturen. Parallel dazu arbeitet die K\u00fcnstlerin auch an digitalen Zeichnungen als virtuelle Designvorlagen der Strukturen.<br \/>\n&#8222;Die Werkreihe &#8217;schiefwinkliger Strukturen&#8216; wird f\u00fcr mich zur andauernden Erkundung der Beziehung zwischen zwei und drei Dimensionen, Illusion und Realit\u00e4t, Form und Funktion, sowie traditionellen und digitalen Methoden der Schaffung von Kunst.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the last few years, the Korean artist Mary Kim, has been working on modular, architectural structures consisting of many identical oblique-angled basic elements made out of wood or metal. &#8222;By using such basic elements as the basis for a new architectural language, I have explored oblique structures and their possibilities as a new construction method\u201d. Each oblique structure is like a growing entity reminiscent of systems in nature and architecture with an organic character.
