In der Videoarbeit \u201cUnverbl\u00fcmt\u201d umkreist eine junge Frau auf dem R\u00fccken eines Pferdes ein Blumenbeet, um es in der n\u00e4chsten Szene zu zerst\u00f6ren. Es ist ein Tanz zwischen Sch\u00fcchternheit, Entschiedenheit und Zwiespalt \u2013 t\u00e4nzerisch zwar anmutig, dennoch liegt darin \u00dcberwindung, Zerst\u00f6rung und Aufbruch.<\/p>\n<p>Simone H\u00e4ckel, geboren 1974 in Hannover, lebt und arbeitet in Berlin. Sie studierte Freie Kunst an der Kunsthochschule in Kassel und Experimentelle Mediengestaltung an der UDK Berlin. Seit 2002 arbeitet Simone H\u00e4ckel vorwiegend mit dem Medium Video.<\/p>\n<p>In the video work \u201cUnverbl\u00fcmt\u201d \u201d a young woman on horseback circles a flower bed, to destroy it in the next scene. It\u2019s a dance between shyness, determination and discord, not a straightforward ride. The flowerbed is the stage, whose boundaries are rarely broken. Although gracefully performed, her riding action shows destruction, eruption and awakening.<\/p>\n<p>Simone H\u00e4ckel, born 1974 in Hannover, lives and works in Berlin. She studied Fine Art at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and Experimental Media Design at the UDK in Berlin.
